Araki Muninsai Ryu Iaido

Iaido is the art of using the Japanese katana - the traditional sword of the Samurai. Araki Muninsai Iaido is a style of Iaido which dates back many centuries. Soke Hajime Hyabuchi, the 16th headmaster of Araki Muninsai Ryu, is a patron of Shu-Ho Jujitsu Renmei.

Araki Muninsai Ryu Iaido techniques focus on speed and precision. Students learn techniques in batches, and spend time between gradings practising new techniques whilst also improving previous techniques.
